Hi ya'll! So, do you guys remember Big Old Mean Old and Veronica, the Black Orpington chickens I talked about? Well, we go downstairs to check on the succulents we have in the window, and, can you guess what we found? We found our rooster in the window! Apparently, Paisley scared him onto the ledge to get to that lower-level window, and he fell right in! Luckily he is okay, and he is perfectly safe! No, I don't have a picture, but I wish I did! (For the record, I blame that on you.) Me? Why?

Tink and Fancy are back in power. The tennis balls aren't working well enough to keep them from headbutting, so they knocked Pika out of the mantle of goat queen. Luckily, they are still scared of me, and they won't headbutt me and my sisters.
We don't know why, but yesterday, two more Buff Orpington chicks died. We also found out that one of the chicks can fly out of the bin and into the pen, but, she can only fall into the little area were the tile meets thee studs of the pen, causing a little pocket to form. We are down to 4, but the others are perfectly happy little chicks that are great and happy enough to try to launch themselves onto my finger. They are adorable, and no longer are 2"x 2" balls of fur. Now, they are about 3" from beak to tail, and about 2.5" from talon to forehead. They are adorable!
Thank you, and stay tuned for tomorrow's post!
Hi! I'm Saige, and I enjoy Marvel and DC movies, family comedy and action movies, books, and I love writing! and my father Giuseppe is an award-winning winemaker. He grows our grapes, as well as purchases them from other local vineyards. Although I'm not old enough to drink, I enjoy assisting my dad with his wine, from planting the vine, to bottling the wine! I will hopefully be able to share with y'all our day-to-day story. Thank you so much!
